We are pleased to announce that on September 2011 published a book about the early years of Hamifal – educational children's Homes.

The book "A Home for Homeless Children" written by Dr. Joseph Yonai, historian and member of the Executive Committee, based on documents and letters found in various archives.

The Book, which published in a limited edition and only in Hebrew documents the first thirty years of the existence of the organization during which sent hundreds of boys and girls in agricultural training within Kibutzim and Moshavim

The book follows its foundations, its content and organization during these early years and follows the directions of development in subsequent years. its reviews the changes in its population, its contents and the various training locations.

The book is a rare document. It is a piece of history that reviewed the concepts of children's placement in Israel.
